Breast Surgeon: UPMC York MemorialUPMC Central Pa is seeking a board-certified general surgeon with a fellowship or extensive training and experience in breast surgery to join our team at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.
Join a dynamic and independently accredited Hillman Cancer Center site at UPMC Memorial in York, Pennsylvania. While part of the broader Hillman network, our Central PA region operates with two distinct entities-Harrisburg and York-each with its own leadership and accreditation. This opportunity offers a directorship role within the York program, providing a unique chance to shape cancer care in a vibrant, community-focused setting.
The Breast Surgery team shares call and does not take general surgery call.
About Our Breast Cancer Program
• UPMC Central Pa has been accredited by the prestigious National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers since 2010
• All UPMC Central Pa breast surgeons are ultrasound certified and offer oncoplastic surgery, including Hidden Scar surgery; UPMC Central Pa is one of just three Centers of Excellence for Hidden Scar surgery in the state of Pennsylvania
• At UPMC Memorial, we prioritize whole-person care-not just for our patients, but for our team. Our campus features a 3.1-mile network of paved walking trails leading to the serene Breast Cancer Garden of Hope, offering a peaceful space for reflection and rejuvenation. We also proudly support a Farm-to-Hospital program that brings fresh, plant-based nutrition to our inpatient menu and breast cancer support group, reinforcing our commitment to healing through wellness and sustainability.

• Comprehensive program includes a multidisciplinary team approach, including breast dedicated medical oncologists, nurse navigators and close collaboration with medical and radiation oncologists
• Wide range of support services includes genetic counseling, nurse navigators, support groups, social work, nutritional counseling, oncology rehab and lymphedema services, survivorship program, breast and eyebrow tattooing, and Paxman Scalp Cooling System.
