Description: About the Role\n
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Surgical to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to oncology surgical patients, ensuring safe recovery and supporting both patients and their families through treatment and healing.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology surgical patients with a variety of health conditions. \n
- Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions. \n
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and blood products as needed. \n
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and post-operative care. \n
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and hospital procedures. \n
- Support safe discharge planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. \n
- Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and supervise their performance. \n
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards. \n
Required Qualifications

- \n
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. \n
- Licensure: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a valid multistate compact RN License (eNLC). \n
- Certifications:
\n- \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association \n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association \n

Experience: \n
\n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience (Oncology/Surgical preferred). \n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association \n
\n
- \n
- Level 1 Trauma Care Experience Required \n
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher. \n
- Prior experience in oncology surgical care. \n
Skills & Competencies

- \n
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, oncology care, and surgical recovery protocols. \n
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment. \n
- Compassionate patient-centered approach with strong communication skills. \n
- Adaptability to diverse patient needs and hospital settings. \n

Rate: USD $93,000 to $120,000
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse Oklahoma state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
