Description
Boston Medical Center Health System and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are jointly recruiting a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach to patient care. Expertise in open, laparoscopic, robotic, endoscopic, and transanal techniques is fundamental to the position. In addition to providing the highest quality care across the full spectrum of colon and rectal surgical disease, the colorectal surgery team prioritizes the training, education, and mentorship of residents and medical students, and improving care through original research.

The Department of Surgery has a significant record of clinical, outcomes, translational, and basic research activity.
The salary range for this position is $339,172–$723,599. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. This hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Boston University conducts a background check on all final candidates for certain faculty and staff positions.
