The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center invite applications and nominations for the position of Director of Pediatric Surgical Oncology.

This is an important leadership opportunity for an accomplished pediatric surgeon with expertise in solid tumor oncology to help shape the future of pediatric surgical oncology care, research, and education at Johns Hopkins.

Position Overview

The Director will oversee all aspects of the pediatric surgical oncology program;Lead multidisciplinary initiatives with colleagues in pediatric oncology, radiation oncology, orthopedic oncology, pathology, and radiology;
Advance clinical innovation, academic excellence, and programmatic growth within a highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be:
Board-certified in Pediatric Surgery with an established career in pediatric surgical oncology;

An emerging or established leader with experience in team building, mentorship, and multidisciplinary program development;

Committed to advancing research, education, and high-quality patient care;

Eligible for faculty appointment at the Associate Professor level or above at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
