Seeking a BE/BC Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon with solid clinical and surgical skills to practice a wide range of hand and upper extremity procedures to join our team in Bowling Green, Kentucky. New graduates are welcome to join this established team who is willing to mentor as you start your new career as an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Work in a collegial environment with four (4) Orthopaedic Surgeons, one (1) Primary Care Sports Physician, and two (2) APRNs.
- 18 ORs with 1 Hybrid OR
- 3 Da Vinci Robots (1 DV5 and 2 Xi)
- 2 MAKO Robots

Position will be 100 percent on-site at the UKHC outreach clinic in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability in clinical teaching, as well as the ability to share responsibility for administration of the orthopaedic program. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. **Priority will be given to Orthopaedic physicians who specialize in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery
Teaching Opportunity: The physician faculty will supervise medical students assigned to the orthopaedic surgical service, as well as supervise and educate residents in the care of patients with orthopaedic-related diagnosis. This position will also be responsible for establishing protocols and critically evaluating outcomes as related to orthopaedic surgery patients, and will serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees as assigned.
**Note: This opportunity is located in Bowling Green, KY and does not qualify for Alternative Pathway candidates. All candidates must be American Board-Eligible or American Board-Certified at the time of hire.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship-trained in Hand Surgery.
- Eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
- Commitment to academic medicine and clinical excellence.
