Description
The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified or equivalent surgical oncologist to join our comprehensive and growing team. This position is predominantly at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, where this individual will be the Head of Surgical Oncology, perform a variety of complex GI surgical oncology and mixed tumor cases, and benefit from protected research time. The dedicated clinical practice at the Yale campus provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with both institutions. Candidates with strong robotic skills are preferred.
Our Division of Surgical Oncology currently includes more than 20 faculty members with a vibrant clinical, research, and educational portfolio. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Surgery.
In addition to clinical duties, faculty members are expected to provide educational training to medical students and residents, and to actively contribute to the research mission of the division. Applicants should anticipate working in a collegial environment with strong institutional and administrative support.
