Locums Ophthalmology - Virginia (Clinic + Surgery + Call)

Locums Ophthalmology coverage available in Virginia combining outpatient clinic and surgical cases with a supportive team and expedited credentialing. This opportunity offers a flexible weekday schedule with the option to work as few as three days per week, while helping a practice maintain continuity during a provider transition.

Opportunity Details

• General ophthalmology with clinic and surgical cases
• General surgery including, but not limited to: Cataracts, IOLs, glaucoma care including MIGS
• Clinic hours typically 8a-5p; surgery days start at 7:30a
• Typical clinic volume around 35-50 patients/day
• Dedicated scribe and technician support
• Weekday coverage model with call included
• Credentialing timeline approximately 30 days

Requirements

• MD/DO, Ophthalmology board certified or board eligible
• Active Virginia license required
