The Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute (CMHVI) is seeking a board-certified Vascular Surgeon to lead and grow its vascular surgery program as Medical Director. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a well-established and highly respected program that serves the greater Central Maine region.
About the Opportunity:
- Join a robust, integrated team working alongside cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, cardiology, and trauma surgery.
- Provide comprehensive vascular care, including complex peripheral revascularizations, aortic reconstruction, and endovascular procedures.
- Utilize advanced resources, including a dedicated Endovascular Suite, hybrid OR, C-arm technology, and a dedicated cardiovascular unit.
- Leadership support to guide program growth and development.
- No general surgery required. Flexible, limited call based on team size.
Ideal Candidate:
- Fellowship-trained in vascular surgery.
- At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience.
- Board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery (preferred).
- Strong leadership skills and interest in program building.
- Committed to high-quality, collaborative patient care.
