Exciting locum tenens opportunity for an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon in South Carolina. Only a short drive from Charleston.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient & outpatient care
• Support staff includes MA's and Cast Techs in the clinic
• Focus on hand trauma; no replants or oncology

Schedule

• 1 week a month starting in January; please reach out for exact dates
• Clinic: Tuesday & Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm
• OR: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Cases and Procedures

• Comfortable with hand trauma cases required
• Inpatient rounding volume: 0-5 per day
• Expected surgical volume: 5-12 cases per OR day
• Clinic volume: 20-40 patients per day

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with sub-specialty training in Hand Surgery
• South Carolina licensure required
