OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic Spine Surgeons to join our practice in Richmond, VA.
About OrthoVirginia:
OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia. We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.
This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Spine Surgery
- Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
- Board Certification/Eligibility
- MD or DO degree
- Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure
- Spinal fusion (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Disc replacement surgery
- Laminectomy
- Discectomy
- Scoliosis correction
- Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty
- Minimally invasive spine surgery
- Spinal decompression
- Treatment of spinal fractures
- Management of spinal tumors and infections
