Ophthalmology Opportunity in Gadsden, AL

Join a well-established ophthalmology group with a focus on cataract and anterior segment surgery in the heart of Northeast Alabama. Practice Overview

• You'll join a team of three experienced ophthalmologists with support from skilled ophthalmic technicians
• Operate in 2-3 clinic sites and 2 ambulatory surgery centers
• Perform a variety of procedures, including cataracts, premium IOLs, and MIGS
• Enjoy a referral-driven practice with no physician turnover in the past five years

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a balance of clinic and OR days
• 2-3 OR days per week with blocked time for surgical cases
• Manage a patient volume of 25-50 per clinic day
• Minimal call burden to support work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits

• Employed position with a one-year income guarantee
• Production incentives based on collections, plus possible signing bonus
• Comprehensive benefits including malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• PTO of 4 weeks plus 1 week for CME, and a CME allowance

Candidate Requirements

• Open to MD or DO candidates with U.S. or international medical training
• Experience in cataract and anterior segment surgery preferred; glaucoma or cornea experience is a plus
