We are looking to fill a new surgery preliminary PGY 2 position for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year.

Our community surgery residency is located in the suburbs of Chicago at Advocate Illinois' 2 largest hospitals, Christ Medical Center and Lutheran General Hospital. Requirements

• Current ACGME accredited PGY 1 Surgery resident or certificate of completion of an ACGME accredited PGY 1 Surgery year within the past 3 years
• CV
• 3 Letters of Recommendation, including a PD/Chair LOR
• ACGME case reports - defined category & year 2 minimum
• ACGME milestone report
• ABSITE score(s)
• List of completed rotations
• Medical Licensing Examination scores - USMLE, COMLEX
• MSPE & medical school transcript or ERAS application
• ECFMG certificate, if applicable
