- PGY-3 Categorical General Surgery Resident
Description
The St. John's Episcopal Hospital General Surgery Residency Program has an opening for a PGY-3 categorical resident to begin June 23, 2026.
Eligibility:
Applicants must have completed PGY-1 and PGY-2 years in good standing at an ACGME-accredited general surgery program by the start date.

Current ACGME case logs by category and defined by PGY-2 minimum. (Minimum 250 cases required by June 30)
Letter of good standing from current Program Director
Two (2) additional letters of recommendation from current faculty
ABSITE scores from PGY 1, 2
USMLE/COMLEX scores
Medical School diploma and transcript
ACGME Milestones evaluations from PGY 1, 2
List of completed rotations from PGY 1, 2
Current ACLS/ATLS/FLS/FES certifications
ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
