Retina Surgery Opportunity in the Four Corners Region
Join a high-volume, physician-owned ophthalmology practice that is recognized for its cutting-edge technology and growth-oriented environment. We are seeking a skilled Retina Surgeon to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing advanced eye care services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a respected community practice offering a clear partnership path.
Practice Overview
- You'll join a team of five physicians and three optometrists.
- Work in a modern facility with access to advanced diagnostic tools.
- Participate in optional clinical research through the Southwest Retinal Research Center.
- Benefit from a high degree of surgical autonomy with multiple ASC partnerships.
Schedule
- A four-day workweek with two days in Durango and one at a satellite location.
- One dedicated surgery day per week.
- Shared call responsibilities on a 1:6 rotation, phone-based with no hospital rounds.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $500,000 - $600,000.
- Incentive model with 35% of net collections over threshold.
- Two-year partnership track with ownership opportunities.

Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Experience in vitreoretinal surgery preferred.
- Eligible for licensure in both Colorado and New Mexico.
