Description

Momentum HCS is currently seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join our expanding surgical team in Moultrie, Georgia. The position includes collaboration with four board-certified general surgeons and support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care.

The ideal candidate is interested in helping grow the vascular surgery service line while being comfortable participating in some general surgery call coverage.

Position Highlights

Competitive guaranteed salary (commensurate with experience)

Annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment

Bonus: 100% shared practice profits

Call requirement: 7 days per month (shared among surgical team)

Additional compensation provided for extra call

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Clinical time is divided equally between outpatient clinic and operating room duties

Opportunity to precept medical students and residents

The surgical clinic is located at Sterling Surgery and Medicine Clinic, within walking distance of the hospital campus.

Clinical Expectations

Initial case distribution: approximately 60% general surgery and 40% vascular surgery during the first year

Opportunity to expand and grow the vascular surgery service line

Current vascular procedures include:

Carotid endarterectomy

Fem-fem bypass surgery

Expansion into additional vascular procedures is highly encouraged to better serve patient needs.

Requirements

Completion or upcoming completion of a Vascular Surgery fellowship

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible)

Active Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
