Pediatric General Surgeon
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a large community healthcare system in New Mexico seeking a full-time Pediatric Surgeon to join our dynamic Children’s Program at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. Join our team of 3 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Practitioners who provide a wide range of surgical care to our pediatric patients including abdominal, thoracic, minimally invasive, cancer care, soft tissue, neonatal and congenital cases.
Dedicated to family-centered Care, the Children’s Center at Presbyterian encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care. Our dedicated pediatric intensive care, pediatric inpatient unit, NICU and thriving multispecialty clinic are all co-located at our flagship campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Practice Highlights:
- Join our team of three surgeons and two advanced practice clinicians who provide a wide range of surgical care to our pediatric patients including abdominal, thoracic, minimally invasive, cancer care, soft tissue, neonatal and congenital cases
- No trauma and no academic responsibilities
- Part of a vital program within our integrated, not-for-profit health system
- Around-the-clock hospitalist support for NICU, PICU, and pediatric unites (116 beds total)
- Work alongside a full range of pediatric specialists in a busy multispecialty clinic
- Radiology, anesthesiology and pathology on site.
- Inpatient and outpatient services are co-located
- Systemwide EPIC EMR with onsite support
- Care for a culturally and socioeconomically diverse patient population

What We’re Seeking:
- Must be BC/BE in Pediatric Surgery
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
- Patient-focused, collaborative and team oriented
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
