The Department of Internal Medicine has 16 Faculty members with resources to recruit additional positions. A residency program trains 36 residents. The Department has one fellowship program, in Endocrinology, with potential to develop more. Company History

Beginning in 1969 as Texas Tech University School of Medicine, today TTUHSC is a seven-school university located in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, Lubbock, Midland and Odessa.
The Permian Basin campus of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is part of a seven campus regional system and is located in Odessa, Texas with additional facilities in Midland. Three schools located on campus providing higher medical education in allied health sciences, medicine and nursing. Present in the Permian Basin for more than 30 years, Texas Tech physicians provide care through our outpatient medical clinics in Odessa and Midland. Our physicians provide care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Behavioral Health, Surgery, and Pediatrics. We sponsor residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
