The Director of Surgery is accountable for the leadership and management functions of the surgical departments and for departmental operational performance including but not limited to the Pre-Anesthesia Area (PAA), the Operating Rooms (ORs), the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), the Endoscopy Suite, and Sterile Processing.
