- Abdominal Wall Surgery Fellow
Description
The Division of General & Abdominal Wall Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health is offering a 1-year Abdominal Wall Reconstruction clinical training fellowship and is currently seeking a fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The fellowship is a fully funded non-ACGME training opportunity that will include a wide range of Abdominal Wall and Hernia surgery, including Robotic and Open techniques for repair and reconstruction. The year will include experiences in routine and complex and simple cases of abdominal wall & inguinal hernias, pre-operative and post-op care, and the management of surgical complications. The fellow will spend 4 days per week in a clinical setting including the operating room and outpatient clinic. The fellow will have 1 day per week for administrative work and research projects.
Candidates must have successfully completed at least 5 years of general surgery training from an accredited program in the USA. Please submit CV with recent photo, personal statement, last 2 years of ABSITE score results and three letters of recommendation to: kbayley@northwell.edu.
