The University of Virginia School of Medicine, in partnership with Korn Ferry, invites nominations and expressions of interest for the position of Chief, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Surgery, the Division Chief will lead and shape the future of vascular and endovascular surgery across one of the nation's leading integrated academic health systems. They will have the opportunity to build a nationally recognized academic division that combines complex tertiary and quaternary vascular care, a growing statewide clinical network, a vibrant research enterprise, and innovative educational programs within the UVA Health Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI).
They will inherit a strong clinical and academic foundation and have the opportunity to build a truly integrated, statewide vascular program serving patients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. With continued institutional investment in HVI, expansion across UVA Community Health, and the launch of a new Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency, the Division Chief will lead the next phase of growth across the academic medical center and regional network.
Candidates will have earned an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent, have completed an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship or an ACGME-accredited Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency, and be board certified in Vascular Surgery. They will be an accomplished academic vascular surgeon with a demonstrated record of leadership, collaboration, clinical excellence, and academic achievement, and will be eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia and for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
