Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, has an immediate need for a BE/BC Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about a teaching position in a collegial, faith-based environment. We are a very busy practice with over 20 Orthopaedic surgeons on staff and a total of 25 Orthopaedic Surgery residents in training. The Outpatient Rehabilitation treatment center is located at Loma Linda University Medical Center – East Campus, approximately 1.4 miles away from the main Medical Center. Our treatment areas are spacious including an 8,000-square foot orthopedic gym along with private treatment spaces. Loma Linda University is located in Southern California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beaches, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This growing region has a low cost of living and excellent private and public school systems. Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs. Compensation & Benefits Expected Total Annual Compensation: $480,000 - $580,000 The compensation range listed above includes variable compensation and is based on a 1.0 FTE work schedule/effort, as outlined in the individual department compensation plan. The compensation range for starting base compensation only, which is adjusted in accordance with years of experience and/or faculty rank, is expected to be $432,000 - $522,000. More information on compensation is discussed with the department during the recruitment process.
