Fayette Surgical Associates PSC is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join our well-established, physician-led vascular surgery practice in Lexington, Kentucky.
For more than 40 years, Fayette Surgical Associates has provided comprehensive vascular care throughout Central Kentucky. Our group currently consists of five board-certified vascular surgeons with a busy referral network, robust outpatient infrastructure, advanced endovascular capabilities, and established hospital-based vascular programs.
This is an employed position with a pathway toward partnership for a surgeon who wants to practice true full-spectrum vascular surgery in a collegial, high-volume environment with long-term professional growth and stability.
Opportunity Highlights
100% Vascular Surgery
Full spectrum open and endovascular practice
Advanced aortic, carotid, peripheral arterial, venous, dialysis access, and limb salvage procedures
Hybrid OR and office-based vascular surgery opportunities
Established referral base with immediate operative volume
Dedicated physician assistant support for inpatient care and operative assistance
Accredited non-invasive vascular laboratory

The incoming surgeon will have the opportunity to pursue partnership within the group based on clinical performance, professionalism, and long-term commitment to the practice. Partnership provides the ability to participate in the future growth of the organization and ancillary service lines.

Practice Environment
Our surgeons currently provide vascular services at two regional hospitals and maintain a thriving outpatient vascular practice with integrated imaging and procedural capabilities.
The incoming surgeon will participate in a shared call rotation averaging approximately 10 nights per month with support from experienced vascular APPs and partners who value collegiality and balanced coverage.

Requirements
## Job Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery
Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship or integrated vascular residency program
Eligibility for unrestricted Kentucky medical license and DEA certification
Ability to obtain hospital privileges at participating health systems
Comfortable managing the full spectrum of vascular disease, including open surgical and endovascular therapies
Experience or interest in advanced endovascular procedures including peripheral arterial interventions, carotid interventions, aortic repair, dialysis access, venous disease, and limb salvage
Willingness to participate in shared hospital call rotation
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborative team-based practice
Interest in building long-term relationships with referring physicians and regional hospital partners
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with physician assistants, vascular technologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Participation in quality improvement initiatives and vascular laboratory accreditation standards preferred
New graduates and experienced vascular surgeons are encouraged to apply
