Full-time, permanent, shareholder-track Comprehensive Ophthalmology position at The Eye Care Institute with responsibilities and practice areas including cataract and refractive surgery, laser surgery, care and treatment of ophthalmic medical conditions, and more.

Our physician-owned practice in Louisville, KY, has over 80,000 medical charts and is supported by two full-time anterior segment ophthalmologists, three full-time optometrists, and three part-time retina specialists. 

Our comprehensive practice offers medical, surgical, routine, and family eye care, including an on-site Alcon Wavelight refractive suite, YAG/SLT Duet laser, contact lens department, optical shop, dry eye center, and more. 

Our affiliated clinical trials site, Butchertown Clinical Trials, has a full time clinical trials staff and boasts 25 FDA approvals and the completion of over 500 trials in the past decade. The ideal newly hired physician will actively participate in clinical trials incorporating new science, technology, and treatment options with the goals of helping improve human health and public health.

Requirements

Completion of residency in Ophthalmology (current residents in any year....now is the time to secure your position with us)

Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Ability to receive a medical license in Kentucky.
